Hays County, Texas celebrates its 175th Anniversary this year. The county was created in 1848 and named after the legendary Texas Ranger, Captain John “Jack” Coffee Hays. A stage line started crossing the county in 1848 and Edward Burleson set up the first sawmill. This allowed commerce to grow and many have come to call this place home. In honor of this community, we are proud to introduce the Hays County 175th Anniversary Rifle.
