“Gold! Gold in the Klondike!” would become the cry that enticed thousands to head North. After its initial discovery in 1896, gold seekers boarded ships in Seattle and headed North in hopes of striking it rich. The treacherous 600-mile trek to the goldfields required many supplies and a heavy dose of Gold Fever. Though a few found some gold, most ended up broke and were already headed home in 1898.
The legacy of the thousands, who endured some of the harshest environments in hopes of a better life, is as tried and true as the American dream. To honor this history, we are proud to present this limited edition Ruger Super Blackhawk. Etched into steel are the elements that many braved on this journey. Celebrate and carry on this rich history with this heirloom firearm.
