2022 marks the 250th Anniversary of Shenandoah County, Virginia. The Shenandoah Valley is well known for its rich roots in American history, specifically the Civil War. This area is where Stonewall Jackson made a name for himself during the Valley Campaign in 1862. It is also the location of the Battle of New Market, the only time in American history where cadets from a military institute were used as a combat unit. The area is also home to some of nature’s best views including the iconic Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River.
45 LC
Henry Repeating Arms motto is “Made in America or Not Made At All”. This American made lever action is chambered in the 45 LC caliber. This historic caliber was very common for the Sharps 1874 rifle, which was the rifle of choice for most Buffalo Hunters in Dodge City at the time.
