Own A Piece of West Virginia History
Taylor County, West Virginia celebrates 175 years of history this year. The county was part of the westward movement back in the 1700’s when America was expanding its boundaries. With the arrival of the railroad in 1852, Grafton would become a staple along the B&O railroad. After the Civil War, the area would become home to a National Cemetery which is still present today. Since that time, the area has become known for its outdoor location along the Tygart Valley River as well as the home of Mother’s Day. Many families have come to call this unique area home and we are excited to celebrate this milestone!
